On Lake Ontario we fish one-piece light action Ugly Stick rods coupled with Okuma and Penn reels.  We proudly feature R&R, Dreamweaver, Northen King, Stinger, and Yeck spoons.  We also use R&R Salmon Assassins, Pro-Troll ProChips, and Dreamweaver Spin Doctors in all the hottest colors and sizes.  Behind these top-producing flashers you'll find flies from A-TOM-MIK and Fisher tackle. 

The Boat

We fish out of a 28' Wellcraft Coastal with a 10.5ft. beam powered by twin Chevy 350's.  The Wellcraft Coastal is designed primarily as a near-shore saltwater boat with a bow-up design.  This make it very dry and stable in rough water which we occasionally see on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.  The Christie II has a hard-top, stand-up head, a complete galley, and plenty of room in the cuddy to store your belongings.  She's equipped with a Raymarine C-120 Multi-function display which features a color 12" screen for easy viewing of the radar, GPS, and fishfinder.  We also have a Garmin DGPS unit, a Sub-Troll 900 speed & temperature unit, SIRIUS satellite radio, cell phone, and two VHF ship-to-shore radios.  The Christie II is equipped with 5 Cannon downriggers, Traxstech rod holder system, and a complete planer board system.
